Early Childhood

Summer Garden, Ages 2-4

Geared toward our youngest campers, this program emulates the daily rhythm of our wonderful Waldorf Kindergarten. The days are filled with arts & crafts, storytelling, water play, nature walks, and of course, play!

Age: 2-4 years old

Time: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm (ages 2-3)
9:00 am - 3:00pm (ages 4+)

Dates: June 10-14, June 17-21, June 24-28, July 8-12


Summer Garden, Ages 5-7

Creativity Camp

A crafty, fun-filled week for Rising 2nd-5th graders with Ms. Rosemary!  This week is filled with traditional summer activities sure to remind parents of idyllic summers-past.  Just a few of the exciting activities planned include: Sidewalk chalk art, Tooth fairy pillows from felt, Glitter gels for use in art and body art, Simple weaving with items from nature, Tiny living fairy gardens, Nature walks, Story time and Sing-alongs, Water play in sprinkler, Music making with found objects, No bake cookies, Homemade popsicles, and much more!

Age: Rising 2nd-5th grades

Time: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Four Elements Camp with Ms. Bella

Join us for outdoor exploration, seasonal activities, bond-building, and personal creation through painting and crafts! Each day will be focused around a different element: Earth, Wind, Fire, Water. The final day of camp will be filled with a mix of themed games and activities.

Age: Rising 2nd-5th grades

Time: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Handwork Fun with Ms. Judy Forster

Hand Sewing is such a practical skill. Almost everyone at some point will have to sew on a button, hem some pants, or sew a repair, but hand sewing is fun! There are so many things to make-- finger puppets, pockets, small stuffed animals, and more! This class is designed to meet campers where they are at skillswise. This is the place to learn new skills and build on skills you already have.  We will use plant-dyed wool felt and clean, new stuffing wool. Join Judy and her daughter, Rose, for Hand Sewing Camp!

Lego Engineering

Are you ready to up your engineering game? Our instructors will introduce mechanisms to get your gears turning; then, it’s your job to take it to the next level! Go head-to-head or work towards a new personal best as we get ready to apply real-world concepts to LEGO challenges.

Age: Rising 2nd-7th grades

Time: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Circus Arts

A lesson in clown artistry. We will first explore the history of clownery and talk about all the different types of clowns, what they wear and why. After, they will have a chance to learn about the physicality and performance aspects of clowning then they will have a chance to dive into their own clown persona. 

We will then be introducing some of the main skills clowns must learn, like juggling, balloon animals and face painting. By the end, we will incorporate everything we've learned and will be challenged to clown around with their peers. These lessons will expand their minds to more careers in the arts, and inspire them to explore their creativity, confidence, and self expression!

Age: Rising 4th -9th grades

Atlanta Arts Adventures with Ms. Bella

This summer is the perfect time to see all that Atlanta has to offer. Join us on a journey through some of Atlanta's museums, parks, and attractions to enrich our respect and passion for where we come from! The week will conclude with art projects that showcase how Atlanta inspired us. Campers will choose their medium, whether it be painting/drawing, clay sculpting, poetry, etc.

Age: Rising 7th-9th grades

Time: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Convert Your Clothes!

Alterations, Refashions, and Sensory Solutions. Learn tips and tricks on how to get the fit and look that suits your unique shape, style and sensory needs. Come practice design, deconstruction, pressing, pinning, cutting and sewing. Bring your creativity, your clothes, and sewing machine if you have one. Some machines are available to use, and some tools provided. This camp is open to rising 9 graders and alumni with some sewing machine experience. Limited to 12 participants. Be sure to bring your own clothing that you want to upcycle! Shower curtains and scrap fabric will work also!
