WSA is our family! Our children have received so much support over the years from their many teachers, and we are so thankful. We wish every child could receive a Waldorf education.

Tuition & Fees, 2024-25

Tuition is set annually by the Board of Trustees at a level needed to meet the cost of operations. Most families pay over 11 months, though an annual and semi-annual payment schedule are also available. For families on tuition assistance, each of the 11 monthly payments will be approximately the same amount based on the amount of assistance awarded. Sibling discount: There is a 10% discount for all younger siblings attending the school (except for families receiving tuition assistance). Payments will increase for families adding in Extended Day hours.

Tuition Assistance: The Waldorf School of Atlanta offers a Tuition Assistance program for families who are unable to pay the full tuition. You can find more information here.

Additional Fees and Costs

Instrument Rental and Lessons
Beginning in Grade 3, students start learning a string instrument, either the violin, viola or cello. Parents support this program by providing private lessons so students can further develop the skills acquired through the school’s rich music curriculum. Many students will continue playing their instrument through eighth grade. Students admitted during middle school years may start on a string instrument or may participate in our ukulele ensemble. It is especially helpful if students begin lessons during the summer to prepare them for the year ahead. Parents are responsible for the cost of weekly lessons and renting or purchasing an instrument. These costs can range from $200 to $250 per month.
